glovers house steel frame Construction work to develop the Bexhill Enterprise Park in East Sussex has reached an early milestone: the steel frame of the first building has been completed.

Named Glovers House, this building will be a high quality, contemporary business centre over three floors. With offices to let within it ranging from 627 sq ft to the whole 25,235 sq ft property, it will be able to house a combination of small, medium and large companies.

Construction of Glovers House began last October with ground and foundation works. The steel frame has now been completed and the roof and floors installed – as shown.

The next step will be to create the external façade and install windows.

The building is on schedule to be completed later this summer (artist’s impression below). Letting discussions are under way.

Glovers House artists impression - small The Bexhill Enterprise Park is being developed by economic development company Sea Change Sussex to the north-east of Bexhill to help local firms expand and attract companies to the area in order to generate local jobs.

As well as Glovers House, the Enterprise Park has sites for up to a further 220,000 sq ft of premises. Companies can commission Sea Change to develop freehold or leasehold properties for them or buy the sites to develop their own.

Complemented by significant home building plans for the area, the Enteprise Park will help to create a major new business and residential community to the north-east of Bexhill.

It will be accessed from the north via the forthcoming Link Road and, from the south, via the new ‘Gateway Road’ which Sea Change is developing to connect to Bexhill’s Wrestwood Road.

Anyone interested in offices in Glovers House or sites on the Bexhill Enteprise Park should contact one of Sea Change’s agents:
